Chris Blackwell is an Atlanta-based guitarist, songwriter, producer and studio musician. Born into a family of musicians, Chris began playing guitar at age 5 on his grandfather's Gibson J-50 acoustic and has been performing professionally since he was 15.

Throughout his career, Chris has worked across rock, country, R&B, jazz, blues, gospel and more, collaborating with notable artists including Jennifer Holliday, Jimmy Buffett, T Graham Brown, Bo Bice, James Otto, Mac McAnally, and The Gregg Allman Laid Back Legacy Band. His guitar work is featured on four Billboard top 20 charting singles and television and radio commercials.

Chris actively tours with ABBA Mania – The Original from London's West End and performs regularly in the Atlanta area with the Mike Veal Band. He proudly endorses VVT Amplifiers, Eastman Guitars, Elixir Strings, Jetter Effects, and Revo Guitar Straps.
